Dentistry runs in Kim’s family as she was encouraged to enter the field by her uncle, who was a dentist for more than 40 years. She is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Dental Hygiene with over 35 years of experience, herself. Kim enjoys keeping patients calm before procedures by giving them a smile and making them laugh. She thinks building new friendships is one of the best parts of her job.

Outside the office, Kim relaxes by cooking, gardening and watching her favorite local sports teams on television. She also loves traveling and spending time with her son and their two Dalmatians.
